Business Continuity Plan

Capital Analysts Incorporated has adopted a business continuity plan to address the possibility of a future significant business disruption (SBD) due to an unanticipated emergency circumstance or catastrophic event. Our plan anticipates two kinds of SBDs, internal and external. Internal SBDs affect only our firm’s ability to communicate and do business, such as a fire in our building. External SBDs prevent the operation of the securities markets or a number of firms, such as a terrorist attack, a city flood, or a wide scale, regional disruption. In the event either of these scenarios takes place Capital Analysts Incorporated plans to continue conducting business, and we will reestablish business operations as quickly as possible. Capital Analysts Incorporated maintains a backup of all records as well as an alternate location to which key employees can be relocated in the event of either an internal or external SBD. Our plan is subject to modification and an annual review; an updated summary will be posted on our website www.capitalanalysts.com. Alternatively, customers may obtain updated summaries by requesting a written copy by mail.
